Travel is in my DNA. Passed down from my father and now shared with my children, the love for exploring new places has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I recall spending hours as a child, poring over maps with my dad as we planned family road trips and adventures. That early passion for maps and geography led me to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, with an emphasis on Travel and Tourism, from Brigham Young University.

I began my career while in college as a corporate and leisure travel agent. Staying home to raise my children, my passion for travel and adventure only grew. Over the years, I have explored nearly 50 countries, while helping friends plan their trips and organize group travels to far-off destinations.

Now I’ve partnered with my daughter—who shares my insatiable love for travel—to launch Carter & Co. Travel. Together, we bring our expertise, passion, and personal travel experiences to help you create unforgettable journeys. Whether you're seeking a relaxing getaway or an adventurous trek, we’re here to make your travel dreams come true.

My passion for exploring cultures and their histories shapes my approach to travel. With an academic foundation in Geography and Tourism Studies, I view travel as a way understanding the intricate bond between places and people, and how we, as travelers, fit into this global mosaic. Hence, I adopt a comprehensive strategy in planning our trips, ensuring that our itineraries transcend mere sightseeing to offer genuine experiences.

My current chapter involves a nomadic lifestyle that allows me to immerse in the cultures, traditions, and landscapes of the world firsthand. Currently, I'm located in Asia, conducting field research from the bustling markets of Indonesia to the snowy mountains of the Japan. These lived experiences constantly refine my perspective and enrich the journeys I curate, making each one more informed, intentional, and unforgettable.
